Slatwall Brackets - Slatwall Accessories - Braced Rectangular Slatwall Hangrail Bracket

The strength of slatwall has long been one of the slightly disappointing aspects of the wall panels. The Slatwall Accessories are much stronger than the board. They are very versatile, and for the most part strong enough to handle a standard load, but when push comes to shove and you want to pack the wall with product you are going to have slatwall "blowouts" where the face of the board separates from the backing and your slatwall will fail.

Using the correct Slatwall Brackets can make a dramatic difference in the longevity of your board. Some retailers are using pegboard brackets in the grove and all thou they work, they damage the board. First of all the area that the pressure is applied to is very small so chipping or flaking of the board can happen. Second the 3rd wire of a pegboard hook will "pock" the LPL slatwall or painted surfaces.

If you have tried to lineally hang your clothing on slatwall, you probably have been picking it up off the floor when it bust the grove. The best way to accommodate lineal hanging on slatwall is with the Braced Rectangular Slatwall Hangrail Bracket. This unit triples the amount of weight that the slatwall can support by not only adding an additional brace, but using downward pressure instead of torqued allows for a greater distribution of weight. Throw away every thing else you own for adding hangrails to slatwall. This is really the only bracket made to save your walls.
